By using DesiChat (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.

1. Use of AI

DesiChat is powered by artificial intelligence and provides chatbot interactions for companionship and entertainment. The AI responses are auto-generated and may not always be accurate or appropriate. DesiChat is not a replacement for real human interaction, therapy, or professional advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use DesiChat. By accessing the platform, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement under the laws of your country or jurisdiction.

3. Account Registration

You can sign in using Google or Facebook. No phone number or OTP is required. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account.

4. Data Usage

By using DesiChat, you consent to our use of the following data:

• Your name, email, and avatar (if available via Google or Facebook)
• Your chat interactions (used to improve your experience and personalize responses)
• Usage analytics to help us improve the product and experience

We do not sell your data or use your conversations for advertising. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.

5. Responsible Use

You agree not to:

• Abuse, exploit, or harass the AI characters
• Attempt to manipulate or reverse-engineer the system
• Engage in unlawful, harmful, or misleading behavior on the platform

6. Limitation of Liability

DesiChat is offered "as-is" without any guarantees. We are not liable for any emotional, financial, or other outcomes resulting from your use of the platform.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the Platform.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country.
